Monti, San Lorenzo
Of the Hills that rise up on the eastern side of the centre of Rome is perhaps the most appealing.The districts holds some of the city’s most compelling sights, including the enormous Palazzo Bernini and Palazzo Massimo. This area around Stazione Termini , is also where you might end up staying, home as it is to a good portion of the city’s hotels. Beyond here, just outside the city centre, via Nomentana hosta a couple of churches- Sant’ Agnese fuori delle Mura and Santa Costanza- that are well worth making the trip out to: and the district of San Lorenzo forms a hub for the city’s students and a handful of clubs ahd restaurants.
