As you might expect, there is plenty of accommodation in Rome, and for much of the year you can usully expect to find something without too much trouble. Many of the city’s cheaper hotels are located conveniently close to Termini, if you want to stay somewhere more central and picturesque, there are many hotels in the centro storico and around Campo de’ Fiori: some of them are not that expensive, but they fill quickly.For more luxury surroundings, Tridente and the area east of Via del Corso, towards Via Veneto and around the Spanish Steps, is the city’s prime hunting-ground, although there are still a few affordable options close by Piazza di Spagna.
It’s always worth booking in advance if you want to snag a bargain, especially when the city is at its busiest. It’s worth booking online for discount deals- just entering the hotel name and “Rome” should bring these up.
